Drag Queen and King Cabaret
What could be more fun than the ultra glamorous, ultra hilarious, and ultra fearless world of drag queens and kings? With the pop culture explosion of drag right now, we feel it’s time for the campy and quirky queer world of drag to hit our region! And what better embodiment of TaDa! could we have? Come experience a night you’ll never forget!
Note: The program on Saturday, May 28 runs 2-1/2 hours (8:30 – 11pm), including a 1/2 hour intermission. The program on Sunday, May 29 runs one hour shorter (8:30 – 10pm). Come early on Sunday and you can see the one-act play Mayfly with local artist Rae-Anna Maitland at 6pm, take a break for dinner, then return for our Drag Queen Cabaret at 8:30pm! All for $20 (plus taxes)!

Aimee Yoncé Shennel
Aimee Yoncé Shennel comes to our region from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This Latin Sensation and “well-rounded” entertainer enjoys a variety of styles from hip hop, salsa and reggae to ballads. Whether impersonating her favorite artists or presenting an original montage of song and dance, you’ll fall head-over-heels in love when she steps on stage! Apart from performing, her favorite part of drag is meeting new people, sharing in conversation and impromptu selfies. Aimee seeks to share her art of drag because making even one person smile can make a world of difference!
Kashmir Doll
South Asian beauty Kashmir Doll lights up the stage when performing her dazzling routines! She describes herself as “funny, talented, gorgeous, amazing, caring, kind, etc etc” LOL! More seriously, she’s been on her own since the age of 17, and feels in Canada that she is safe, accepted and can be her true self. She thanks her chosen family and friends who have supported her in every way.
Kimmy Couture
Kimmy Couture was Miss Capital Pride in 2018 and is considered a Dancing Diva Extraordinaire! When not flaunting her beauty, she is an advocate and activist for people of colour.
Oliver Twisted
Get ready to get twisted! Although Oliver has only been doing drag for a few short months, he feels he has found his true calling as a king in such a wonderful community. His drag is punk, flamboyant, theatrical, and energetic. Oliver believes drag can and already has changed the world – and is honoured to be a part of it!
Ruby Foxglove
Ruby Foxglove is Ottawa’s plus-sized singing diva! Having grown up doing musical theatre, her drag takes inspiration from the greatest Broadway stars and showgirls. With Ruby, you can expect live singing, glamour and a touch of camp!
