Perfect for first-timers or people who want to “dip their toes” in the world of performance!
The From Page to Stage program is about to move into production and is looking for performers aged 14 to 90 years old.
Playwrights from the program have written 8-10 minute scenes; directors from the program are working to get them on stage. All they need is you!
Auditions will be held February 22nd from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wakefield Community Centre.
Auditions will be a maximum of 10 minutes each. You will be provided with a short script in advance or you can bring a scene with you. You do not need to memorize lines.
Commitment:

Rehearsal time with the directors, schedule to be determined by cast and director: held between Feb. 22nd and March 21st for approximately 10-12 hours, depending on the scene

Tech/Dress rehearsal on March 21st in the evening and March 22nd throughout the day.

Performance: March 22nd in the evening.
