“Last November, 7 new and emerging local writers assembled under Theatre Wakefield’s Scott Hébert-Daly to create ten-minute scenes for the theatre. Over four workshops, they learned the craft of writing for the stage and the fact that just because a play is short, it doesn’t make it easier to write!

Seven directors then stepped up to learn the basics of directing under Eric Hébert-Daly. They assembled a cast and determined a vision to bring the work of these writers alive.

From witch trials, to the highlands of Scotland, to modern family drama and comedy, this show has it all! Come out and support Theatre Wakefield’s newest generation of creators.”
