Volunteering Opportunities

Theatre Wakefield plays a key role in Wakefield’s lively culture of volunteerism, with a pool of some 75 volunteers who are the heart of Theatre Wakefield. Volunteers are involved in all aspects of operations and activities, from board management to Theatre Wakefield productions.

Volunteers receive training or orientation and often have the benefit of mentoring in our activities including:

  • Summer Theatre Camp

Become a Member

General Members receive advance notice of Theatre Wakefield events and productions with any special offers or ticketing discounts and can take part in volunteer opportunities.

Voting Members can vote at our Annual General Meeting (AGM). All Voting Members are required to pay an annual fee ($5) at the AGM. Supporting Members are organizations who support our projects and activities.
