Jeeves at Sea

Join us as we finally get Jeeves “out to sea”. A comedy based on the stories of P.G. Wodehouse, this has been adapted for the stage by Margaret Raether, and directed by Theatre Wakefield’s own Claude Laroche. Wear your best laughing shoes and join the amiable and “idly rich” Bertie Wooster and his ever faithful valet Jeeves aboard the Vanderley yacht!

This delightful romp aboard ship in 1920s Monte Carlo is the perfect recipe for an entertaining evening at the theatre! November 18, 19, 25, 26 at 7:00 pm and November 27 at 2:00 pm.

Set sail for laughter as Bertie Wooster revels in life aboard the Vanderley yacht. In the blink of an eye: Bertie is masquerading as a romance novelist; Crumpet is posing as his own long-lost twin; and a sinister foreign Count is challenging Bertie to a duel. Will this madcap case of mistaken identities end in Bertie’s doom — or worse, his marriage? Have no fear, Jeeves will sort it all out.

Jeeves at Sea is based on the stories of P.G. Wodehouse, an English author who was one of the most widely read humorists of the 20th century.
